golfing lessons
Domino#24 asked:

I just started golfing 2 weeks ago.
My friend keeps saying i should get lessons.
Idk if I should spend money on them cuz he’s been golfing for a year and i’m about as good as him.
Tell me what you think.

It shouldn’t matter how good your friend is or how your game compares to his. Do you want to be a better golfer? If yes, take a lesson. If no, then spend your money on something else.

Yes as a beginning golfer it would be well worth your time to take some lessons. You can take either private or group lessons depending on your budget.Golfing is not about whether your better than he is or not.Golfing should be about beating your own scores and improving your game.

Yes, lessons from a pro are good for the basics so you can eliminate bad habits early. Once you get to the point where you have “a game,” try a program like ShotByShot to help you identify the strengths & weaknesses of your game (believe it or not, it’s not always as obvious as you think!) and accelerate your improvement.
