Beginner Golf Lesson?

Would it be better to take lessons from those simulators that you see at your local golf outlets? or would I better off with an instructor on the course

best answere: 1st good luck and play for fun. Taking lessons is important because in the golf swing a lot of things in your whole body are going on one thing then another. Thats why beginners always hit grounders. To watch the pros they just swing a nice easy swing and the ball goes 325 yds off the 1st tee. (dont try that at home). So lessons are like school. Elementary is learning the fundamentals. When your swing feels comfortable and you are getting the distance for each club that you shold be then go to a more advanced lesson to learn what is necessary in your swing balance and direction. Then you graduate to fine tune what you are learning. You can play all the golf you want as a beginer. But a professional lesson now and then just to remind you how to improve is important even after you think you got it. Even the pros have trianers to fine tune thier swings while they are on tour. Anyway enjoy. That is what is important and excercise. Forget the electric carts. The old fashioned walk around the course is best always. Good luck

The mind for it you can teach self like did but we are few take some lessons sure but we all perform differently get.
