John Y asked:
For a right handed person’s golf swing, should the left leg “post up” and straighten out during the down swing? Perhaps not immediately, but what should the left leg be like before impact, at impact, and after impact on the follow through? Thanks
Tim

Yes it should be fairly straight just before impact.
The correct swing id go and have lesson if youre getting the very different swings so sometimes its comfortable hope that doing things correctly can feel weird at address just bend your leg always has slight bend your knees little as if youre sitting.
I don’t think it really matters wether the leg is a little bent just before impact but it should be straight on your follow through.
Have a good one…
