golf swing practicing
slash lp asked:

They are making my life miserable. They constantly make me practice and “study my swing.” Im 15 and I made varsity as a freshman this year, which was probably a mistake to do. I enjoy playing on the team, but I hate that they won’t let me broaden my own sights. They took away my guitar just now because I did bad at practice today. Music is really what I’m interested in. Its not like it gets in the way of anything at all; I have had a 4.0 GPA since 6th grade! I only play it in my free time anyway. Every time I try to tell them that it’s too much they get EXTREMELY infuriated, ranting on about how lucky I am to have a life like this. I’m miserable and depressed out of my mind, which is only making play worse. They don’t let me have a social life either, they make me either stay home, or practice golf. Please give me a thoughtful answer, thanks.

Next time they tell you how lucky you are to have your life ask them if you are just living out their dreams, because this is not how you like it at all. Tell them that you want to pursue music, that you enjoy golf, but that’s just not what you are passionate about.
