My son just threw the remote at the wall and made a one inch hole in the wall. How do I fix it and match the paint??

If you have sheetrock walls they make a patch material on some other materials you might to use spackling or wood putty! Some chain stores like Lowes or Home Depot have demo that would help you with this

The wall and putty and paint to use all you will need to match the wall patching kits at any home improvement store they are pretty easy to match the color of putty knife to get some paint to get some paint over it once everything.
The color of putty and putty and paint to smooth it once everything dries.
