How many dry quarts of seed starting mix does it take to fill one of those 72 hole mini greenhouse trays?

hole in one

Size of mini-Greenhouse is 11″ x 21″ x 2′T (approx).

These are the seed trays with the plastic dome to gove over top to start seeds. The one I have has 72 “holes” or “spots” to start the seeds in. I bought these at Lowes.

I believe the individual “holes” measure 1.25″ x 1.25″ x 1.25″

less than one bag, I’d say 1/3 bag of so would do it

You will need 5 lb bag. Seed starting mix is usually very dry so you will need to water in mix really good and let set.Add more mix and water in again. Once you plant seeds and keep watering it’s nice to have a little extra potting mix on hand as it will wash out and shrink as it drys.
