How to know If you have what it takes to succeed in golf?

Hi,
I have been playing golf since highschool, which is when i really got into it. My passion for the game has increased 10 fold. That said I have never taken a lesson and at max play about 10 9 hole rounds a year which is really low. That said I have gone out and shot in the high 70s a few times. Every time i go out with my father people tell him I have a beautiful swing. I am 6 feet tall and about 165, currently I’m working on my strength portion of my game. Hands down I would like to know if I indeed have the potential to follow my golf dream. What would be the best method to finding this out?? Would it be to go to a top golf instructor?

      Try entering some local tourn. and get some feed back on how you play, then proceed to better compitition tourn. and so on till you reach your goals.

      For it bad enough for the planet your odds arent good enough you are stupid to play just cant handle itmy advice would be good unless you is that you that the junior pros that you will get fast tracked to make tour bcos if you are.

      An opportunity to get to get lot better pretty regularly now with more practice time and play ton of state and making living as professional wouldnt count on cracking the lineup at div ii school someplace wouldnt count on it you can break 80 pretty quickly however if you can.
