How would one drill a small hole through Pyrex glass without shattering itor any other damages?

I would like to learn how to drill a small hole, perhaps 2 CM wide, into a pyrex glass object. It is very durable and high quality, ie. Chemistry Lab Equipment.
Has anyone done it themselves?

go to a hardware store, buy a glass drill bit, either diamond tipped carbide tipped, the size you need
fill the object with sand, slowly drill [at a slow speed] light pressure, while pouring water over the drill bit,
if possible put object under water, while drilling,

The drill bit in place of the dremel bits are expensive but you have test piece try it the tape will help keep the dremel 30k rpm worked best make sure you can use standard.

You can try it but I don’t think it will work. Generally that glass is tempered to with stand heat and breakage. That’s why it shatters into little pieces. You can get a diamond core drill of that size and do it under water. Good luck
