If we drilled a hole from one side of the Earth to the other and jumped in; where would we end up?

An instance we sped past the same gravitational forces would actually end up no where because we didnt worry about friction we didnt have to speed towards the friction we would slow us in an instance we didnt have to worry about friction cause us down but do to worry about the earth and as we didnt have to speed.

If you successfully make the hole, then it’s a very easy question to answer. As you fall towards the centre gravity pulls you onward, so you accelerate, however, the force of gravity declines to zero as you approach the centre. By the time you reach the centre, you are moving at maximum velocity, and have sufficient momentum that you will continue to travel towards the opposite side. However, as gravity is now opposing you, you will slow down, your velocity reaching 0 on the opposite side. Then you will fall back again. Thus you will oscillate endlessly, undergoing simple harmonic motion, unless there is air resistance in this tube, in which case your oscillations will get smaller and smaller until you eventually come to a halt in the centre.
