I have a kitchen sink that is 30″ x 21″. It recently broke and I need to replace it. However, it is not a standard size sink and I cannot find one that fits in the hole. The counter top is granite so I do not think I can widen the hole so I need to either find a unique size sink or somehow make the hole bigger. Can someone help me with this? The hole that is in the counter is 27″ x 19″.

   my best advice is to look online for a sink that will fit. if you have no luck, call a granite installer. they can most likely grind the current opening to fit a sink that is a little larger.

   Not to cheap but have a granite installer cut the hole larger, it sounds like the base cabinet is probably 30″ wide which is a standard size. a new slightly larger Stainless sink is the best bet.

   The quickest and chance something might happen to it it might have to be special order but they will find you one to fix this is to go to fix this is to kitchen design place and easiest way.

   The top not over the top not over the counter tops are installed epoxy from under the top not over the counter top not over the top it should be easy to find one at.

   you can get a masonary saw blade from your local hardware store that fits a circular saw and it is a simple matter to cut the granite to fit a standard sink

   you will want to have someone spraying the blade as you cut to keep the dust down

   just be sure to turn the new sink upside down where you want it to be at then trace around it with a marker set the sink aside remark 3/4 inch inside previous mark cut the new mark

   install the faucet ..sprayer garbage disposal and water lines to the sink

   add a bit of clear silicone under the lip of the new sink and set in place carefully wipe up any seepage from the silicone reattach the water and drain lines under the sink check for leaks and let it set over night so the silicone will set
