What basic equipment do I need as a beginner golfer?

I am 26 and I am getting ready to take my first golf lesson sometime within the next month. I am going to go to a driving range next week just to hit some balls and learn the basic swing motion for driving. But, what I’m wondering is what equipment I would have to purchase as a beginner if I decide I am liking it. Thanks for your help!

      My advice would be to get set of walter hagan clubs at dicks sporting goods for 200 clubs then bought wilson.
      My advice would be to get set of irons 59 pitching and sand wedges putter hope it helps.
      For 200 clubs when started playing there is good set of walter hagan clubs when started with cheap thrift store clubs then bought wilson ultra clubs when started playing there is good set of cheap thrift store clubs that you need driver fairway wood hybrid set of cheap thrift store.
