What to use for golfing practice in a dorm-style apartment room?

I want to practice putting and chipping in my apartment at school next year. I have a putting mat that will work, but what should I chip into?
Thanks guys, I should have mentioned I already have some of the wiffle-ball looking practice balls, and I’m getting some calloway practice balls. I’ll look into a net at some point..thanks so much!
