Where can I find info on making plain pearl or round metal earring studs. i need beads with only one hole?

Just a plain post with no dangles. I want to be able to buy the supplies and maybe see a demo on line. I can’t find a website that claims to have beads with a hole in one side to be used for studs. Does anyone have any info on where I could look? I know I would have to glue them on somehow or something. I can’t find any info.
